Hello!

We are a team of
software developers...

Web Apps / API’s

A web application is a software living on the internet. For example, Facebook, Twitter, Ebay, PayPal, these are all web applications. We can build many types of web applications ranging from simple e-commerce apps to complex and unique applications. We can also build APIs for those applications so that external applications like mobile apps can connect to the application with ease.

Mobile Apps

We are capable of creating both iOS and Android applications. The technologies we use allow us to build very reliable applications with both web and native components. I'm not talking about hybrid apps which run in a web view. We use web technologies to write the application but at the end, they get compiled into native code which allows us to build really great apps.

Custom software

If you need a software for your organisation (For example, inventory control systems, CRM systems, HR systems, and unique applications which no one has ever touched) we can build complex systems for you. This might include several admin portals, client portals, mobile apps, desktop apps, and many different components required to solve your problem.

Websites

Aside from the complex stuff, we also build simple websites. If you need a website for your company, yourself, your cause, etc we can help you. After extensively researching your need, we will design and build unique websites from scratch. We can use fancy animations and stuff or use simple designs to make your website stand out from the rest.

Your idea...

Let's say you have a great idea but don't have the technical skills to do it. We can help you with that. We will not only just build what you want, we will also guide you through the hard process of forming a startup and becoming successful. We are always ready to go a step forward and help you. Not just build a software and step aside. We love crazy ideas. If you have something like that, we can help you change the world with it!

Mrs. Emma Vorwerk

Managing Director - Whiteberry Interiors

Leafy code created my website for House of Henley a beach house offering boutique accommodation in South Australia. The team were very efficient and the whole process was very professional.

The small video tutorials they provide on how to upload images and amend text are very useful and make managing the site very easy.

It was important for us to create a simple, modern and user-friendly website that captures our brand and the essence of the home, we were very happy with the end result and felt the whole process was managed and executed to our expectations.

FROM
DEVELOPERS
FOR
DEVELOPERS

At LeafyCode we believe we should rise with the community. We don't want to be a lone star. We want to help our fellow developers and take them to the next level with us.

Our team loves to share what they learn. We are good at finding and learning new stuff. We can't survive in this industry if we don't keep ourselves updated. So, why not share it with the others?

There are many great minds out there stuck without proper guidance. If helped, they can do many great things to the world. We want to help them and see what they will do to our industry.

Our team have introduced several unique programs to help our fellow developers. Some are already launched and some are still on the drawing boards. But we believe we can do a big change in the industry with the help of the community!

Leafy Katha

LEAFY KATHA

A podcast created by developers for developers.

We believe a very powerful community can do almost anything. Sri Lanka has incredible people with great capabilities. But for several reasons, only a few of these people reach their full potential and do something for the country. Some leave their country. Many won't get what they need to grow themselves. We want to find them, build a strong community and challenge the world together! The journey will be tough. If you think you can take it, come join us!

Kundaliya

KUNDALIYA

Kundaliya is a web application we built for the Akuru Collective. It is an organisation dedicated to improving Sinhala typography. They have done a huge difference for our local type industry by improving Sinhala Unicode fonts and raising awareness by organising events like the Typo Day here in Sri Lanka.

They requested our help on building a small application to help them hold a competition to raise awareness to the Sinhala full stop (Kundaliya). So, we accepted the challenge!

CONTRIBUTIONS TO OPEN SOURCE PROJECTS AND MORE...

At LeafyCode we always encourage our team to contribute to open source projects and help the community. We don't want to just report bugs and wait till the community fix it. If we can fix it ourselves, we will do it and push it for the community.

There are many people trying to help fellow developers through meetups. We help them whenever we can and encourage them to do more for the community.

These are only a few programs we have for our fellow developers. There will be more...

We are looking for interesting young people to join our unique family. Yes, we are a unique team. We enjoy our work. We always try to do something different. You can say we are a team of mad scientists. But we know what we are doing. And oh we also do podcasts!

We work in many different areas. Web sites, Web applications, Desktop applications, Mobile applications, and many other kinds of software. Our main language is JavaScript. We worship it every day. Note that it's not the old scripting language anymore. It's a very powerful programming language which can be used to build many different software applications.

We always value quality work. If you can't do it in the most efficient, secure and clean way, you should re-adjust your course. If you join our team, we will train you to be a great developer who codes better and even have better qualities as a human being. So, do you think you can handle all of it? If you do, come...
